Home Education Coordination Service

A mother helps a young boy with school work in a well lit bedroom that is also a school roomThe WSWHE BOCES is now offering Home Education Coordination Support to participating component school districts for the first time during the 2024-2025 School Year.  The purpose of this service is to assist school districts with ensuring equivalency of instruction and district compliance with New York State Education Department Commissioner's Regulation 100.10 on Home Instruction.   This service will facilitate the collecting, reviewing and tracking all required paperwork elements including letters of intent (LOI), individualized home instruction plans (IHIP), Quarterly Reports and Annual Assessments for each student from participating districts.
