Criminal justice studies students directed traffic. SkillsUSA and FFA students sat at every table and told guests about how competitions have helped them to hone their skills. Horticulture students created beautiful centerpieces. Graphics arts students designed the menu and recipe cards to compliment the floral arrangements used during the evening. Heleine Schulz, an Early College Career Academy new media student from South Glens Falls CSD designed the program.
The required annual meeting highlighted the Sanford Street Teaching & Learning Center. Exceptional Learners Division Director Kelly Sheppard gave an overview of the center and a tool being used called “the Zones of Regulation.” This video was shown.
The 2024 President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the WSWHE Region was presented to Gretchen Steffan, the Executive Director, Saratoga Warren Washington Workforce Development Board. Always facilitating partnerships, her work with WSWHE BOCES has benefited many. Her leadership is truly appreciated.
