What is WSWHE BOCES?
The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex Board of Cooperative Educational Services (WSWHE BOCES) serves 31 school districts in a five-county region. The BOCES Board of Education, a governing board made up of representatives from component school districts, is responsible for the oversight of curricular, financial and other policy decisions. The chief executive officer of a BOCES is the District Superintendent who works closely with local school districts as a liaison/agent of the New York State Commissioner of Education.

On April 8, 2025, the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury Campus hosted the induction ceremony for the newest members of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
Students Get Hands-On with Gas Safety and Excavation Training During National Grid & UDig NY Event
More than 180 students from Career & Technical Education programs at WSWHE BOCES participated in a hands-on gas safety demonstration, hosted in collaboration with National Grid’s Gas Safety Team and UDig NY.

District-wide School Safety Plan
New York State School Districts and BOCES are required to develop a district-wide school safety plan designed to prevent or minimize the effects of serious violent incidents and emergencies and to facilitate the coordination of the district with local and county resources in the event of such incidents or emergencies.
