Project Enrich is an enrichment program for students in Grades 2 – 8. Project Enrich students meet after-school and on Saturdays and to study a topic in-depth and to develop skills they might not be able to learn during their regular school day. Students also enjoy meeting like-minded peers from other school districts.

Courses are offered three times a year – in the fall, winter and spring – students meet once a week for 6 weeks, each time for an hour and a half or two.

Courses take place in 6 different locations:

BOCES F. Donald Myers Center, Saratoga Springs (Thursdays)

BOCES Southern Adirondack Education Center, Hudson Falls (Tuesdays)

Maple Ave Middle School, Saratoga Springs (Saturdays)

Malta Avenue Intermediate School, Ballston Spa (Tuesdays)

Kensington Road Elementary, Glens Falls (Mondays)

        Granville High School, Granville (Mondays)

To develop exciting course content and find unique teaching talent BOCES works with several organizations in the community. Some of our partnerships have included Dale Carnegie Training, the National Museum of Racing, the Chapman Museum, the Pember Museum, Crandall Library Folklife Center, Skidmore College, Adirondack Community College and even as far away as the Louisville Science Center in Kentucky!

In addition to the community partners, the program hires many of the regular BOCES faculty from Career and Technical Education to teach in the mini course program, including  Culinary, Cosmetology, Auto Mechanics, Horticulture, Nursing, and Criminal Justice teachers. Several BOCES faculty encourage their daytime high school students to participate as aides.
