MultiMedia Services
provides resources for teaching and learning. Different
media formats accommodate a variety of student learning
styles and are a necessary component for resource-rich
learning experiences. Our professional media staff assists
teachers with locating, evaluating and integrating media
resources to prepare students for higher standards and more
rigorous assessments.
The BOCES Media
Library contains a variety of resources including over 8,000 educational videos,
50 Big Book titles 190 Multiple Book titles,
240 Audio Book titles, 165 CD-ROM titles and 700
DVD collection titles.
We also have over 9,000 video and audio streaming titles.
The collection can be
accessed and booked on-line via the web-based Media Catalog.
Requests are also received by phone request, fax or mail.
The Media Library resources
cover all curricular areas K-12 and are aligned to the NYS
Learning Standards.
School Districts
may also request off-air taping from a
variety of sources including cable television and multiple
satellite formats. Dubbing and duplication of school
produced projects can also be requested.
