Board of Education and Administrative Services

The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton Essex BOCES Board of Education, a governing board made up of representatives from component school districts, is responsible for the oversight of curricular, financial and other policy decisions. The chief executive officer of a BOCES is the District Superintendent who works closely with local school districts as a liaison/agent of the New York State Commissioner of Education... 

Board of Education
Fifteen component school districts of WSWHE BOCES are represented on the BOCES Board of Education. Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. 

The WSWHE BOCES Board of Education members are nominated by their respective Boards and elected to one three (3)- year term by the component districts.

Administrative Services includes two Assistant Superintendents; one for Administrative Services, and another for Instructional and School Support Services. Labor Relations and Negotiation Services is another service offered.
