WSWHE BOCES Board of Education Member

Charles Pidgeon – resident of the Fort Edward Union Free School District. I have two children, a son Matthew and daughter Rosemary and seven grandchildren. I recently retired from Tops Food Market as a produce manager after 42 years. I will continue to work part-time at Tops. I have been a Fort Edward Fire District Commissioner since 1994, a St. Joseph’s Church religious education monitor and retreat team leader since 1990. I am the founder of the Fort Edward Girls Softball League, which began in 1993. I am on the Section II committee of sports in volleyball, basketball and softball. I also serve on the basketball and softball State Committee. I am Vice President of the Fort Edward Pee Wee softball team and an active helper in the Lions Club Show (Adirondack Drums).  I am presently a member of the BOCES Board since July 2003 and have been on the Fort Edward Union Free School District Board of Education since 1998.
