WSWHE BOCES Board of Education Member

Gillette B. Nash – resident of the Whitehall Central School District.  I became a BOCES Board member in 2003. I have been married to Bob for 44 years and have four married children. Laura and Joe live in South Glens Falls with three children, Kelly and Jim live in Scotia with two children, Jamie and Jan live in Latham with one son, and Mary Grace and Tim live in the United Kingdom with an infant daughter.

I graduated from Cazenovia College with a business degree and worked in that field for 40 years – retiring five years ago.  Over the years I have belonged to many civic organizations, both with memberships and holding offices in the organizations.

I was elected to the Whitehall Board of Education in 1982 and have had a continuing office position since that time.  Over the years I have been elected by the Whitehall Board for offices and chairman of sub committees. Since 1986 I have been the voting delegate to the NYSSBA Convention and was appointed the SLN Delegate for Washington County in 1995.

I look forward to working with Dr. Stoothoff and the WSWHE BOCES Board of Education.
