John Rieger – resident of the Schuylerville Central School District. I reside on the family farm at 149 Hunter Road, Greenwich, New York in the Town of Fort Edward. I have been married to V. Millie Young Rieger for 41 years and have three children and two grandchildren. 

I am the founder, owner, and operator of Country Power Products, Inc. for the past 36 years (two locations, one in Ft. Miller and the other in Greenwich). Country Power offers sales and service of power equipment, ATV’s, snowmobiles, mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, generators, small engines etc., lawn and garden supplies including trees, shrubs, flowers, and a complete line of animal feeds and supplies to support both full and part time farmers. 

I am a member of the BOCES Board of Education, a Fort Edward Town Councilman, President of the Fort Edward Local Development Corporation, President of the Greater Adirondack Resource, Conservation and Development Council, Chairman of the Washington County Soil and Water Conservation district, a New York State certified snowmobile safety instructor, and a member of the Washington County Agriculture and Farmland Protection Board.
