The
placement of substitute teachers for 20 of the school
districts in Washington, Saratoga, Warren, Hamilton and
Essex Counties is coordinated through the WSWHE BOCES
Substitute Registry. Substitute teachers and support staff are interviewed and
hired by the individual districts. Once hired by a
particular district, assignments are made through the
Registry.
The
Substitute Teacher Registry places substitute teachers,
teaching assistants, teacher aides and nurses in 20 area
school districts on a per diem basis. Applications are
accepted at our Burgoyne Ave. location Monday - Friday
from 8:30 a.m. until
3 p.m. Documents required for
registration are:
- Drivers License
- Social Security card
- A copy of your teaching
certificate, if you are certified
