SETRC provides Professional development and technical assistance to school administrators, school personnel, parents and community members to assist in the education of students with disabilities.  The Hudson-Mohawk JMT Regional SETRC Office serves the Capital Region, Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery, Questar III, and Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES regions. 

Regional SETRC activities include designing, conducting, and coordinating multi-district workshops, conferences, and programs focusing on special education issues.  Presentation topics for multi-district, parent, community member, and/or other agency participation may include but are not limited to:

• State Laws and Regulations
• The State Performance Plan
• CSE and CPSE member training
• Effective Service Delivery
• IEP Development
• Behavior Intervention for Students with Disabilities
• Literacy for Students with Disabilities
• Test Access and Accommodations
• Transition Planning
• Due Process/Mediation 

Training packages, materials, and Train-the-Trainer workshops are also available for some of these topics.
