All Queensbury senior ECCA students were invited by the board. The day consisted of a breakfast at the WSWHE BOCES Southern Adirondack Education Center in Hudson Falls, followed by a “look in” at the students in their ECCA classrooms. The group then traveled to SUNY Adirondack to wrap up the visit where the leadership heard a presentation highlighting the PTECH and ECCA pathways from all Queensbury ECCA students. The group received a tour of the college classrooms as well where students could elaborate on their programs and spend additional time with each other.
Principal for Innovative Programs, Michelle Maddalla, stated, “we appreciated the feedback from the Queensbury Union Free School District Board of Education members and administrators about the quality of our programs. We are impressed with the maturity and skills that our students possess and are so proud of them. We remain grateful for the Board’s desire to learn more about ECCA /PTECH and the value these programs bring to our districts. Our partnership with Queensbury has not only benefited our shared students, but students around the region."
