Students from Sanford Street Teaching & Learning Center, Southern Adirondack Education Center and the F. Donald Myers Education Center BEARS program attended a Thanksgiving luncheon on November 17, 2023 hosted by the senior class of Saratoga Central Catholic School (SCC).
Dressed professionally, SCC students prepped the plates and served the meals as well as provided fun activities for the students such as coloring and crafts.
Exceptional Learner students enjoyed a full Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. They worked on their social skills at the luncheon, which included waiting for everyone at the table to be served before eating, using manners and talking with others. They really enjoyed the meal with their friends and listened to holiday music.
