Application Process
Applications for the Practical Nursing program.
Applications will open in January 2026.
Please note that candidates must be 17 years of age to enter the program.
Interviews: interviews will be held in early June 2025. Dates to be announced.
Please note only complete applications will be reviewed. These will include:
- Google Application Form - Will open in January 2026
- TEAS Exam Results (official results through ATI) *waived for anyone with a college degree (minimum score of 50)
- Transcript (High School Diploma, High School Equivalency or College Degree). Transcripts must be official and sent directly from the institution/school via email or regular US mail. - Character References
After completion of interviews, candidates will receive notification of conditional acceptance, waitlist acceptance, or declination of acceptance. Candidates will be interviewed based on the following rubric: (see PN Application Rubric for Admission Decisions.)
Candidates that receive conditional or waitlist acceptance will be provided additional directions to fulfill remaining enrollment requirements including:
- Completion of background check ($136 through Castle Branch, instructions will be provided)
- Ability to verify fitness for duty (current valid physical within 12 months) and immunization record
- Appointment for financial aid if needed
- Appointment for I9 verification
