Shared Positions & Cooperative Recruiting Services

For economic efficiency, the following positions can be shared between two or more school districts to perform administrative functions as determined by the school superintendent. Individuals would be hired and paid by BOCES, and the districts that share the position will generate BOCES State Aid:

School Business Administrator
Food Service Manager
Assistant or Associate Superintendent for Instructional Services
Facilities Director

A cooperative recruiting service for other positions is also available which will coordinate advertising, the collection of applications and resumes plus store files of prospective candidates for future use. Online applications will be accepted by the BOCES website in the near future.
