In 2014, English Language Arts Teacher, Georgiana Bull, had a wish to create a monthly magazine which would be open to students and staff alike at the F. Donald Myers Education Center. She had the full support of the Exceptional Learners Division Principal Dr. Shawn Hunziker. Ten years later the magazine is going strong and just celebrated the tenth anniversary of its first printing. “Chance’s Hand,” is a collection of student’s jokes, cartoons, math problems, social studies and science blogs, health tips, recipes and many other beautiful works.

Congratulations to Early College Career Academy and Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) students for receiving National Technical Honor Society awards.

Congratulations to Reilly McCormick, a New Visions Health Careers Exploration student, for receiving the AASBA Community Service Award.

On May 10, 2024, PTECH held their second annual Completion Dinner Celebration.

At the May 8, 2024 meeting of the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex Board of Cooperative Educational Services (WSWHE BOCES) Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner (D-Round Lake) presented District Superintendent Dr. Turina Parker with a "Women In Leadership Award."

92 students from 22 component school districts participated in Talent Unlimited.

Eighteen staff were honored in a retiree recognition ceremony on May 8 at the Ballard Road Conference Center. Collectively, the staff members served 350 years to WSWHE BOCES.

The F. Donald Myers Education Center inducted 77 members into the National Technical Honor Society on May 2, 2024. The ceremony was held at Maple Ave Middle School.
