On September 14, 2022, WSWHE BOCES honored 25 staff members who earned tenure.

WSWHE BOCES held a graduation ceremony on Thursday, August 4, 2022 honoring its High School Equivalency (HSE) Program graduates.

On July 1, 2022, Congressman Paul Tonko met with leadership, instructors and recent graduates from the WSWHE BOCES High School Equivalency (HSE) and Employment Training for Adults programs as well as the Tri-County Literacy Center to donate adult education books he received from the Congressional Library.

So much attention has been given to the skills gap in the United States. The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is pleased to be doing its part in closing that gap by preparing the next generation of skilled workers and industry innovators.

The WSWHE BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program celebrated 260 high school seniors from the Southern Adirondack Education Center (SAEC) who received completion certificates on June 16, 2022.

The Washington Street Teaching and Learning Center (WSTLC) students were recognized on June 17, 2022 in the beautiful courtyard at the school. Students, families and friends were in attendance to celebrate the students’ growth and milestones for the school year.

Twenty nine students in the WSWHE BOCES Exceptional Learners Division received their completion certificates on June 10 and June 13 during in-person ceremonies.

The Early College Career Academy (ECCA), a partnership program between the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton Essex BOCES and SUNY Adirondack, held its Completion Ceremony at the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury campus on June 10. Seventy four students from 17 school districts were recognized in the company of family members, WSWHE BOCES and SUNY Adirondack staff and faculty, BOCES Board of Education members and honored award presenters.

June 10, 2022 – Similar to special events for high school athletes signing commitment letters to colleges where they will play sports, or high school seniors donning collegiate shirts from the colleges where they have been accepted on designated college acceptance days, the WSWHE BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program recognized those students in its programs who will go directly into the workforce by holding a CTE Signing Day on June 9 at the Park Theater in Glens Falls.
