The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES is pleased to announce the selection of the current Assistant Superintendent for Educational and Support Programs for the WSWHE BOCES, Turina Parker, to be the new WSWHE BOCES District Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer.

The Early College Career Academy (ECCA), a partnership program between the Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton Essex BOCES and SUNY Adirondack, held its Completion Ceremonies at the SUNY Adirondack Queensbury campus on June 10 and 11.

Partners from Warren County school districts, county agencies and regional not-for-profit organizations met with school district leaders and members from around the county on Friday, May 20, 2022 to coordinate and build professional relationships among those who provide services to children and families who may need support.

On May 19, 2022, Employment Training for Adults (ETA) held a completion ceremony for their Machine Tool Technology students at the Southern Adirondack Education Center in Hudson Falls.

Twenty-two staff were honored in a retiree recognition ceremony on May 11 at the Ballard Road Conference Center. Collectively, the staff members served 479 years to WSWHE BOCES.

On April 8, 2022, the WSWHE BOCES Power Sports Technician instructor and program were nationally recognized by the Equipment and Engine Training Council (EETC) for the High School Program of The Year. This award recognizes an exceptionally strong or innovative EETC accredited school program, which reflects the hard work of the supervising instructor.

Assemblyman Matt Simpson (114th District) spent a good portion of his day touring the WSWHE BOCES programs on May 6, 2022.

The F. Donald Myers Education Center inducted 55 members to the National Technical Honor Society on May 5, 2022.

Culinary Arts students and the National Guard teamed up for a cooking competition using Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) as their inspiration. The 2022 MRE Challenge was held on May 5, 2022 at the F. Donald Myers Education Center. The competition was in the style of “Chopped” and other timed cooking contests.
